Transparent Acoustic Panels
The pursuit of transparency must not contradict room acoustics. Design composites translucent thermoplastic AIR-board® acoustic panels can be efficiently, visually sophisticatedly and simply integrated into internal building designs. The translucent elements not only convince with noticeably improved room acoustics (reduced reverberation time and thus increased speech intelligibility) but also by their low weight, the many design possibilities and the ease of assembly.
The translucent sandwich elements consist of a transparent or coloured honeycomb core with micro-perforated facing sheets giving a high degree sound absorbance and impress with their unique optics and functionality. Whether stand-alone screens, coverage on or as a wall, suspended in the room or integrated in the furniture, as space-defining structure or as a mobile workspace enclosure, the elements are flexible and can be individually adapted to the respective room concept.
We have 2 types of acoustic panels:
AIR-board® acoustic – is sound-absorbent up to 70%
NEW AIR-board® acoustic quiet – is sound absorbing as well as sound insulating to 28dB
Translucency and light scattering effects enhance the unique properties such as fire resistance (UV PC difficult to ignite), light weight and high rigidity. Illuminated or backlit, creating interesting lighting effects through the transparent honeycomb core structure of the panels.

The panel`s special effect are mainly from light scattering and light absorption, backlighting, integration of lights and other decorative materials.
Versatile
Numerous possibilities in the individual design of the architectural panels regarding colour, surface, core, shape and special effects. Printed panels are also possible as well as shaping or special edge banding and installation ready systems

AIR-board® acoustic
AIR-board® acoustic consists of micro-perforated translucent outer layers and is sound-absorbent up to 70%. The honeycomb cores are available in different cell sizes, structures and in transparent or black.
The AIR-board® acoustic panel has a translucency up to 60%, is characterized by a very low weight combined with high stiffness and is also difficult to ignite.

AIR-board® acoustic quiet
AIR-board® acoustic quiet consists of one micro-perforated translucent and one not perforated translucent outer layer. The panel is sound absorbing as well as sound insulating.
The honeycomb cores are available in different cell sizes, structures and in transparent or black.
The AIR-board® acoustic quiet panel has a translucency up to 60%, is sound absorbing as well as sound insulating and is characterized by a very low weight combined with high stiffness.
