Our panels for wall and partition systems combine acoustic effectiveness with aesthetic design. They reduce noise, improve room acoustics and at the same time create structure and orientation within interior spaces – ideal for offices, schools, public buildings or modern residential concepts. AIR-board® acoustic quiet provides both sound absorption and sound insulation, making it perfectly suited for lining translucent partition walls.
A wide range of surfaces, colors and formats offers extensive design possibilities that seamlessly combine functionality and architecture.
The result is interior solutions that promote calm, comfort and visual quality in equal measure – modular, sustainable and individually adaptable.
AIR-board acoustic complies with fire classification B-s1, d0.
Yes. AIR-board acoustic quiet was specifically developed for this purpose. These elements provide sound insulation of up to 28 dB while simultaneously offering sound absorption with an NRC of 0.30. The standard version, by comparison, provides only approx. 6 dB of sound insulation.
Backlighting is recommended; a satin finish ensures uniform light diffusion.
The standard version is clear / transparent.
Colors can be added afterwards using digital printing.
They combine high light transmission with excellent sound absorption (NRC up to 0.70) and can be easily integrated into interior fit-out applications.
Partially. One-dimensional forming is only possible with clear-PEP panels featuring PMMA / acrylic facing sheets or acoustic panels.
Yes. Various edge-sealing options are available.
A sound absorption level of NRC 0.7 can be reached if installed as a wall/ceiling covering.

The location of our company inspires the entire team every day to actively contribute to reducing environmental pollution. Surrounded by unspoiled mountains and meadows, design composite relied on state-of-the-art ecological construction methods when building its new production facility in the Salzburg region of Pinzgau.
The measures implemented have resulted in a positive energy balance and enabled the sustainable reduction of a calculated CO₂ emission equivalent of 140 tons per year.
