Our TERRAZZA MAXI panels combine light weight, robustness and weather resistance – providing the ideal foundation for durable balcony decking and versatile event flooring. Their high load-bearing capacity and structural stability ensure safety and comfort even under intensive use.
Slip-resistant surfaces provide additional safety in everyday use as well as at events, while easy handling and fast installation allow for flexible applications – from temporary event areas to permanent residential solutions.
Thanks to their resistance to weather conditions and moisture, the panels remain dimensionally stable and low-maintenance even in outdoor environments. This results in a sustainable solution that perfectly combines functionality, aesthetics and economic efficiency.
Sustainability is part of our DNA.
We focus on resource-efficient alternatives, already use 95% renewable energy (Scope 1 & 2), develop recyclable mono-material composite elements, and continuously increase the share of recycled materials in our products.
Yes. The panels can be easily cut, drilled, milled, riveted or bonded.
Depending on the requirements, we use hot-melt PU adhesive systems, two-component PU adhesives, or directly weld thermoplastic products together.
Yes. TOP-air antislip provides a durable, moisture-resistant alternative that reduces weight by approximately 50–60%, depending on the panel thickness.
Yes. Thanks to our extensive service facilities, we also supply elements ready to install.
Yes. The core consists of 100% recycled PET foam.
Yes, repairs are generally possible. Suitable repair instructions can be requested directly from Design Composite.
Standard formats are available up to 6,000 × 2,450 mm. Custom made formats of up to 13 m in length and 2.90 m in width can be manufactured on request.
The elements should be stored flat on pallets in an indoor storage area. High point loads must be avoided.
Yes. Inserts such as wood, aluminum profiles, PVC or PET rigid foam can be integrated. Custom formats and special cut-outs are produced using our CNC machining centers.
Information on suitable special cleaning agents is available directly from Design Composite.
No. Terrazza Maxi does not have an official building authority approval in Germany.
Yes. We would be happy to prepare an individual offer for this.
The support tape is used to define the adhesive height, compensate for tolerances and interrupt sound bridges. The support tape must always be used.
In principle, a primer always improves the subsequent bonding and, in some cases, makes bonding possible in the first place. For all applications, always use Collano HP 1000 primer.
No! The thin face sheets and the panel core are not suitable for direct screw fastening. Without special factory-installed inserts, only cavity fastening systems are suitable.
Polyester reinforced with glass fibers (GRP).
No. In order to absorb stresses, joint sealants require sufficient width and depth. Because larger joint widths are better able to accommodate panel movement, each joint must be designed with a minimum width of 14 mm between the two connection angles for panel lengths of up to 6,000 mm.
Approx. 5 linear meters of bonding per adhesive cartridge. Collano HP 1000 must be used.
Approx. 5 linear meters of bonding per adhesive cartridge. Collano HP 1000 primer must be used.
Only with suitable coating systems. Please consult your paint and coating supplier. Custom solutions are available on request.
The PE backer rod is used to limit the joint depth and to prevent three-sided adhesion.
For fire safety reasons, we advise against placing charcoal grills, fire pits, terrace fireplaces or similar equipment on the panels. Any such use is at the user’s own responsibility. We recommend using a suitable protective base, for example made of stone or glass.
In principle: no. However, professional fastening may be possible using suitable metallic inserts, sleeves or similar components.
Collano A 1970 adhesive is solvent-free and is therefore suitable for a wide range of applications in the construction, industrial and automotive sectors.
The Collano products have been tested and proven to be optimal. Professional installation in accordance with our guidelines is required. The use of alternative products is at the installer’s own responsibility.
This product has been tested and confirmed as optimal. The high strength of the support tape enhances immediate walkability. The use of alternative products is at the installer’s own responsibility.
Yes, provided suitable tools and machinery are used. Trial processing should always be carried out in advance.
The location of our company inspires the entire team every day to actively contribute to reducing environmental pollution. Surrounded by unspoiled mountains and meadows, design composite relied on state-of-the-art ecological construction methods when building its new production facility in the Salzburg region of Pinzgau.
The measures implemented have resulted in a positive energy balance and enabled the sustainable reduction of a calculated CO₂ emission equivalent of 140 tons per year.
For us, sustainability is more than a goal – it is an integral part of our corporate strategy.
Through innovative technologies, a responsible supply chain, and a clear ESG focus, we develop sustainable solutions that meet the requirements of tomorrow.
