For over 25 years, we have been developing innovative sandwich panels that perform across a wide range of applications. Whether lightweight yet highly stable solutions for vehicle and industrial construction, sound-absorbing panels for optimal room acoustics, or aesthetic elements for architecture and design – our products combine functionality, sustainability and individual design.
Using state-of-the-art technology and a clear focus on quality and environmental responsibility, we create solutions that set new standards and are used worldwide.
We inspire with tailor-made, ecologically sustainable lightweight solutions that deliver greater efficiency and performance. With a high degree of flexibility and commitment, we develop customer-specific solutions ranging from individual panels to complete system components – from special one-off solutions to series production.
WE ARE THE PIONEER OF ECOLOGICALLY SUSTAINABLE LIGHTWEIGHT SOLUTIONS
Thermoplastic lightweight panels are environmentally sustainable lightweight solutions for industries aiming to reduce resource consumption while increasing performance – including vehicle manufacturing, caravan construction, container systems, the building industry and industrial applications.
These mono-material elements, made from PP or PET, are bonded using an irreversible thermal fusing process, creating a homogeneous structure that is 100% recyclable.
Lightweight foam panels offer an ideal combination of extremely low weight, high strength and excellent insulation, making them the preferred choice for many technical applications.
Honeycomb panels are composed of a lightweight yet extremely robust polypropylene honeycomb structure that delivers exceptional stability and strength.
Bonded or welded PP honeycomb / foam panels with slip-resistant surfaces. In thermoplastic materials, the core and face layers are joined in an irreversible melting process, creating a durable and homogeneous composite structure.
The complete range of lightweight flooring solutions offers an innovative, weight-optimized alternative to conventional solid materials such as plywood or phenolic boards. Despite their low weight, the panels deliver high structural stability, long service life and maximum weight efficiency in practical use.
TOP-tec ALU is a composite panel consisting of an aluminum honeycomb core and aluminum face sheets.
Using a specialized bonding technology, honeycomb-like cores can be combined with translucent, micro-perforated face sheets to create panels with a unique appearance (light transmission of approx. 60%) and effective sound absorption. The elements offer a wide range of possibilities for customized acoustic solutions in terms of core design, geometry and special effects. Printed panels, formed shapes, special edge details and the production of ready-to-install systems are all possible.
AIR-board acoustic is a double-sided sound-absorbing acoustic element with up to 85% sound absorption (sound absorber class C for wall and ceiling applications and class D when used as a freestanding partition). The elements significantly improve room acoustics by noticeably reducing reverberation.
AIR-board® acoustic quiet features one micro-perforated face sheet and one closed face sheet. This configuration allows the panel to function as both sound-absorbing and sound-insulating (up to 28 dB), making it ideal for lining translucent partition walls.
All of our architectural products are part of our ESG mission: maximum sustainability combined with innovative solutions. We rely on recycled and bio-based raw materials and continuously develop new approaches to make the architecture of tomorrow even more environmentally responsible.
BIO-BASED
PC ECO is a face sheet with a bio-circular material content and a reduced CO₂ footprint.
This means that the portion of the material normally produced from fossil-based resources is replaced by renewable raw materials. The attributed sustainable content accounts for up to 83% of the total material content.
100% R-MMA
What makes Greencast unique is that it is manufactured entirely from recycled acrylic (R-MMA) while offering the same properties as standard acrylic glass made from virgin synthetic monomer.
The distinctive honeycomb cores for clear-PEP® elements are manufactured on a specially developed and patented core-drawing system. The innovative characteristics of the cell structure not only give the panel a unique sense of depth, but also provide exceptionally high stiffness.
PC Eco facing sheets have a bio-circular material content and a reduced CO₂ footprint. This means that the portion of the material normally produced from fossil resources is replaced by renewable raw materials. The attributed sustainable content is up to 83%.

Using a specialized bonding technology, honeycomb-like cores can be combined with transparent facing sheets to create panels with a unique visual appearance.
AIR-board® elements can be supplied with bio-based polycarbonate facing sheets or, alternatively, with facing sheets made from 100% recycled acrylic (R-MMA), available in a wide range of colors and surface finishes.

Our backlit lightweight sandwich panel is the ideal solution for high-end decorative applications in architecture and interior design. It consists of a light-transmitting natural stone laminate that is fully bonded to an equally light-transmitting sandwich panel.
The combination of genuine natural stone, low weight and modern sandwich construction enables impressive lighting effects while maintaining high structural stability.
When backlit, the panel creates striking visual effects that enhance the atmosphere of a space—ideal for wall cladding, furniture, counters or interior façade elements.
The panel impresses with its natural aesthetic and ease of processing.
The location of our company inspires the entire team every day to actively contribute to reducing environmental pollution. Surrounded by unspoiled mountains and meadows, design composite relied on state-of-the-art ecological construction methods when building its new production facility in the Salzburg region of Pinzgau.
The measures implemented have resulted in a positive energy balance and enabled the sustainable reduction of a calculated CO₂ emission equivalent of 140 tons per year.
For us, sustainability is more than a goal – it is an integral part of our corporate strategy.
Through innovative technologies, a responsible supply chain, and a clear ESG focus, we develop sustainable solutions that meet the requirements of tomorrow.
